“LEADERSHIP: HAS PRIDE OVERSHADOWED THE AUTHENTICITY OF BEING ACQUIESCED?” PART ONE.

Has society tactfully created a thriving environment for followers?

I was on YouTube the other day and listened to a mother express her dismay over getting a phone call from her son’s teacher. The teacher called the mother concerned because her son and two other children had played a ball game where there was no teasing, hackling or over competitiveness just a fun game resulting in her son winning.

Well, the young man who lost took offense and complained to the teacher who called the parents of the other students.. I’M SORRY BUT WHAT? What has this generation and life itself come to when you can no longer win? I can only blame the parents of this child because it is clear to me that they are not instilling ANY real life values within him. The teacher in this scenario probably felt bad for the child and wanted to help but in all honesty all she did was coddle the child which further enabled him.. so although she is apart of the problem, she didn’t create it.

This scenario really got me thinking.. is society inadvertently creating overly sensitive and entitled individuals and if so who’s responsibility is it to change the narrative? Leadership is something that has been very heavy on my heart lately and throughout my life I’ve had so many examples of what true strength and power are and where they really come from. So, let’s dive deep into this by asking the right questions.

How well do you overcome trials & tribulations and do you possess the ability to help others recognize their strengths and limitations with doing the same?

A true leader MUST be able to recognize when they are contributing to their own suffering as well as that of others.  A lot of people like to say that, “Leaders aren’t made, they are born”.. But I beg to differ. We all possess the ability to serve others but you CANNOT do so until you have developed a perfect harmony between your flesh and spirit.

Until you have learned to govern your spirit by discerning your flesh, you will never be fit to lead. Here’s why, your flesh succumbs to emotions and lacks a rational overview of most things whereas your spirit is pure and rooted in the very things that naturally drive us; love, service, and selflessness.

How well do you serve others?

The mark of a true leader is someone that can consistently destroy the things within them and others while giving themselves and others the necessary space to grow. It’s within this process that you begin to serve others and trust me this can be very rigorous and sometimes draining however the privilege of responsibility is the highest form of being appointed.

How many times have you said yes to the very things and people that have held you back and how did it feel to invest in the very circumstances and people whom aren’t capable of loving you back?

You begin to idolize anything that commands your attention and distracts you from your true purpose. It’s never easy to walk away from the very places and people that you have grown accustomed to however in order to successfully lead you must learn daily sacrifice and self denial because there will come a point in your life that calls for a new sense of self and if you hesitate.. you will create doubt.

So, how do you properly use free will?

We have all been given the ultimate freedom (or free will) to consciously decide the type of energy that we would like to emanate into this world albeit positive or negative and believe it or not there’s an auric field that surrounds us all and what you say or do literally affects everything around you and those closest to you..

How susceptible are you to negative energy?

All creation begins in the mind, this is a common psychological theme. A leader is only a good leader once they learn to steadily discipline their mind.

But do you have a healthy imagination?!

True life stems from an healthy imagination and here’s why.. you have to be able to visualize and plan in your mind before you can make the idea tangible. You have to be able to see the world the way God sees it. And that’s in its pure form. Take away all the pointless ambition and materialism and what do you have left? Depth that stems from core values and meeting the genuine needs of others. Our spirituality craves stimulation however we live in a world built on the physical.

Our physical is a lot slower than our spirit. Imagine having the capacity to house 50,000 ideas and yet if your spirit is not aligned you lack the motivation needed to even remember what those ideas were. Your physical will always distract itself with the immediate things because that helps us avoid the wait. Whereas in the spirit you become aware of EVERYTHING. The key to a healthy imagination is simple and that’s to remain diligent in your thinking by being naive and childlike because only then will you possess the key to objectively viewing an subjective world.

So, why all of the questions?

One distinct feature of a good leader is that they are intrinsic to curiosity. They always ask right and wrong questions because they are naturally intrigued and inspired by the authentic ways of life. Their imagination constantly elevates their thinking which then heightens their capacity to think outside of the box which fuels their emotional intelligence to produce answers and bona fide emotional responses.

Now having read this, how many TRUE leaders are you surrounded by?

“THE IDEOLOGY OF THE LATE BLOOMER: SOCIAL CONSTRUCT, FABRICATION, OR DIVERSION”?

Webster defines the late bloomer as someone who becomes successful, attractive, etc. at a later time in life than other people.  Scientifically it’s defined as a child who goes through puberty later than their peers. It is also known as constitutional delayed puberty, and it’s the most common cause of late maturity.  So, why this topic?  A number of reasons but I guess the main one would be a question that I proposed about myself to myself.. (writers, am I right?)  Do late bloomers actually exist or are there just people who were born to be set apart and or different.. allowing them to break free from and surpass the matrix? Biologically, yes. I’m what would be constituted as a late bloomer because I promise you I didn’t get real boobs until I was 24 and then my body changed yet again at 28…introducing my child bearing hips.. Anywho, I’m the second oldest of my moms 4 children and somehow everyone always assumes that my younger siblings are older than me. So, in that...

“222 : TRAILBLAZING UNKNOWN PATHS OF SELF DISCOVERY VIA THE HUMILITY OF CHANGE”

I don’t think highly of myself. I never have and I really think that that confuses people. I’ve been told that I’m mysterious and with every change it appears that I hide only to reemerge brand new.  It would seem as though that I live my life as if there was some truth to be revealed when in all actuality I just live. When my life calls for a transition I’m not concerned about involving anyone as I begin the lengthy and all consuming process of starting over. Instead I have learned to rely on God which typically means isolation.  Webster defines change as the following; To make different in some particular: Alter To make radically different: Transform To give a different position, course, or direction to To replace with another to make a shift from one to another - Switch To exchange for an equivalent sum of money To undergo a modification of To put fresh clothes or covering on The definitions were even broken down into transitive and intransitive verbs. So the word change is...

“A CONVERSATION WITH LOTS WIFE: WHEN DOES GRIEF ACTUALLY BEGIN” PART TWO To Maria Eva Castro, I see you baby girl. God has beautiful things in store for you. Keep moving forward. This post is for you.

There was a time when I couldn’t be trusted with disappointment. There was a time when I couldn’t see past my pain. Anger fueled my spirit allowing me to mismanage it all. It stole from me, took everything from me.. The most important thing being time.. How many times will I look back? How many times can I replay the same situation in my head when I know that the choices that I make affect too many people?! Can you hold me down without holding me back? Can you really and truly hold me down without holding me back? Hold me but please don’t hold me down only to suffocate me! Please?! Unanswered prayers, pain and heartbreak have led too many people down traumatic paths because they keep looking back to dwell in their own turmoil. Everyday they are choosing to be bound by their own “demons” continuously allowing their unhealed pain to invite darkness into their life prone heavy hearts. No more pain escape attempts No more pain escape attempts No more pain escape attempts So, how will we st...
